Are you a budding artist with a love of cows?

A co-operative of 400 British dairy farmers whose herds of Jersey and Guernsey cows supply the milk for the Gold Top brand have just launched a campaign to encourage more people to learn the difference between Jersey and Guernsey cows and the common garden black and white variety that produce the majority of the UK’s milk.  As part of this campaign to encourage more people to try the creamy milk in their Sunday morning latte, the farmers are planning to launch a limited edition Gold Top coffee mug.

A search is now on for amateur artists who can capture the charm of Jersey and Guernsey cows and create the design to appear on the mugs.

Entrants simply need to produce a piece of artwork on paper that is no bigger than A4 size that features one or more Jersey and Guernsey cows. The winning artist will receive a set of the limited edition mugs featuring their own designs and designs will appear on the Gold Top website.
