IGD offers fully-funded scholarships to celebrate centenary year

The scholarship is ideal for ambitious individuals working in any part of the food and grocery chain, including small and medium sized businesses and those in farming and agricultural sectors. It comprises five compulsory and one optional unit to be studied over one year.

Joanne Denney-Finch, Chief Executive, IGD says: "Our heritage is in training and development, and in our centenary year, we are proud to offer this unique opportunity for industry professionals to broaden their understanding of the whole food and grocery chain.

"The course focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to progress in the industry and allows candidates to bring their learning into the workplace, as well as giving them the opportunity to network with others from across the food and grocery chain.

"We hope to encourage applicants from across the whole supply chain, including farming and agriculture, and particularly those working in small and medium sized businesses.

"It is so important to invest in leaders of the future and we believe that the Postgraduate Certificate in Food & Grocery Industry Management gives students and businesses the expertise needed to succeed in the future."
