By supporting people to live in and create vibrant and sustainable rural communities, the Plunkett Foundation is improving rural livelihoods through co-operative and social enterprise.

The activities of the Foundation are governed by a board of trustees, responsible for the strategic direction of the charity and whose role it is to ensure that Plunkett's principles of seeking solutions to create social change and enrichment of rural community life through self-help enterprises are applied in the most appropriate way. Plunkett Foundation needs a new trustee who has an understanding or direct experience of social enterprise, rural policy development, finance and law.
